Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone

The author of the #1 New York Times bestselling Outlander series returns with the newest novel in the epic tale.

The past may seem the safest place to be . . . but it is the most dangerous time to be alive. . . .

Jamie Fraser and Claire Randall were torn apart by the Jacobite Rising in 1746, and it took them twenty years to find each other again. Now the American Revolution threatens to do the same.

It is 1779 and Claire and Jamie are at last reunited with their daughter, Brianna, her husband, Roger, and their children on Fraser’s Ridge. Having the family together is a dream the Frasers had thought impossible.

Yet even in the North Carolina backcountry, the effects of war are being felt. Tensions in the Colonies are great and local feelings run hot enough to boil Hell’s tea-kettle. Jamie knows loyalties among his tenants are split and it won’t be long until the war is on his doorstep.

Brianna and Roger have their own worry: that the dangers that provoked their escape from the twentieth century might catch up to them. Sometimes they question whether risking the perils of the 1700s—among them disease, starvation, and an impending war—was indeed the safer choice for their family.

Not so far away, young William Ransom is still coming to terms with the discovery of his true father’s identity—and thus his own—and Lord John Grey has reconciliations to make, and dangers to meet . . . on his son’s behalf, and his own.

Meanwhile, the Revolutionary War creeps ever closer to Fraser’s Ridge. And with the family finally together, Jamie and Claire have more at stake than ever before.

A few updates regarding the upcoming publication of
Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone

NEW (Sept 17th): Ms. Gabaldon has indicated that she is willing to do short (up to five words) inscriptions, but that she will not be able to do them until January or February of 2022 after the initial shipping crunch has subsided. Keep in mind that we have well over 25K orders in place.

If you'd like to update an existing order to include a personalization, and if you're prepared to wait until next year to receive it, please drop us an email here:   bees@poisonedpen.com

Due to the massive volume of orders for this title, Ms. Gabaldon will only be autographing copies.  She will not be able to do personalizations.  Thanks for understanding. It has been brought to our attention that there is some misinformation floating around online about this.  We can assure you that all copies will be autographed by Diana Gabaldon.

We have already begun processing the orders that we've received to date.  If you notice that you've been billed, please be advised that the order will not ship until after November 23rd, 2021.

To simplify things, all orders for Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone will be shipped separately.

Ms. Gabaldon will be hand-signing all books, and at over 20,000 orders so far, this will take some time.
We cannot guarantee delivery by the holidays but we will be happy to provide a special certificate of purchase. Details to follow.

Other upcoming releases

Drums of Autumn: 25th Anniversary Edition ($45.00, November 3rd).  All copies will be autographed by Diana Gabaldon.  No inscriptions.

 This special twenty-fifth-anniversary edition features a never-before-seen reader’s guide.

“Unforgettable characters . . . richly embroidered with historical detail.”—The Cincinnati Post

What if you knew someone you loved was going to die? What if you thought you could save them? How much would you risk to try?

Claire Randall has gone to find Jamie Fraser, the man she loved more than life, and has left half her heart behind with their daughter, Brianna. Claire gave up Jamie to save Brianna, and now Bree has sent her mother back to the mysterious Scottish warrior who was willing to give his life to save them both. But a chilling discovery in the pages of history suggests that Jamie and Claire’s story doesn’t have a happy ending.

Brianna dares a terrifying leap into the unknown in search of her mother and the father she has never met, risking her own future to try to change history . . . and to save their lives. But as Brianna plunges into an uncharted wilderness, a heartbreaking encounter may strand her forever in the past . . . or root her in the place she should be, where her heart and soul belong.

General Information about shipping and inscriptions
Diana Gabaldon stops by the store to autograph books as her time permits (usually once a month or so). We try to keep a nice supply of autographed copies of all titles on hand, but occasionally we do temporarily run out. If we do not have the particular book you're looking for in stock, just drop us a line as we'll most likely be restocking soon.

Inscription Requests
The author is able to write short inscriptions on most titles, but keep in mind that this can delay shipment up to several weeks.  For inscriptions please enter your request, limited to FIVE words plus a name, into the instruction box when you proceed to checkout. (Due to the demands on her time, Diana has elected not to inscribe The Outlandish Companion Vol 1, Vol 2, Outlander Kitchen, Finding Fraser, and The Official Outlander Coloring Book). As stated above, Diana will NOT be able to personalize copies of Go Tell the Bees.

Shipping Rates

USA
$5.00 via Media Mail  -  $1.00 for each additional book.  Thus, a complete hardcover set of all eight Outlander books would run $14.00.  Media mail is the least expensive method and can take up to 10 business days.   We are happy to ship via Priority Mail and UPS Ground, but the prices will be higher.

INTERNATIONAL
Please contact us for a shipping quote.  These books are quite heavy and multiple copies will increase shipping costs. For a shipping quote drop us a line at sales@poisonedpen.com.
